- Added accounting of the equipment movements with asset tags. It is displayed on the "Equipment movement" tab in the warehouse section. Events are recorded during the transfer of equipment from rooms to the warehouse, from the warehouse to a computer, between computers, warehouses and rooms.
- Improved the view of the displayed information, which is automatically generated in the movement and maintenance log: when adding or removing equipment, when changing the information in the PC card and moving it to another group or room.

- Added the OEM product key detection for MS Windows and Office. You can manage the OEM keys and link it to the purchasing documents.
- Added detection of the non-activated MS Windows and Office products. You can detect computers where the software is installed but not activated.
- Added the asset tag generation based on templates. You can specify asset tags for the list of equipment.
- Added the IP address filtering on the Client application start. When the client is started by a logon script, computers from specific networks will be filtered out.
- Added the report search based on keywords and the preview function. You can easily find a necessary report and watch the report format immediately.
- Added displaying the Windows release version. It is helpful for Windows 10 because the OS version remains unchanged while the release version changes with updates.

* 8.8 * April 2019
- Added ability to find and scan SNMP devices. The program detects the following inventory information from network printers: serial number, printed sheets, toner level (%), cartridge name (if supported).
Devices found with the help of the SNMP protocol are automatically added to Dictionaries according to the device types. The information is displayed on the "Data" - "Warehouse accounting" tab, in the "SNMP devices" and "Equipment in rooms" sections.
- Added ability to correct and edit the memory module type. Added a window for editing the memory type for cases when the program does not detect the type correctly from the system (the system might not return the memory type).

Added a lot of new functions to the License Manager.
- Added the OLP/Downgrade license audit. These license packets allow installing older versions of products.
The program counts all versions of installed products and counts the number of remained licenses helping you to prevent the over-using of licenses with-in the packet.
- Added the license expiration audit.
You can see which and how many product licenses are expiring so you have the information on what number of licenses you need to renew or add new licenses if necessary.
- Added ability to maintain the software license suppliers.
You can now see which licenses were purchased form a specific supplier.
- Added the purchased license key audit.
You can see all purchased license keys for a product, including the number of keys reserved for OLP/Downgrade.
The program checks the key statuses, finds expired keys, duplicated keys, and keys installed in wrong departments.

- Improved the S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics. The program monitors dynamics of changes of the S.M.A.R.T. parameters. Added the "S.M.A.R.T. Changes" data group (a new configuration item in the tree).

- Added the column templates for preparing the summary table report listing computers vulnerable to (and protected from) the Wanna Cry virus family. The column templates allow you to search for the Windows version specific security updates installed on your computers.
- Added the Windows version filter templates for the summary table report. Using these filters you can prepare reports for one specific Windows version. These filters will be useful when used together with the columns templates described above.
- Fixed the summary table bugs which occurred when the Windows update/hotfix search is enabled in columns.

- Added ability to manually add stored equipment to warehouses. You can move computers and equipment from warehouses to workplaces and back now.
- Added ability to create catalogues (lists of available items) for the warehouse and workplace asset tracking. You can take stock of equipment added to computers cards (for example, monitors, printers), placed in rooms (for example, routers, network printers), and moved to a warehouse.
- Returned ability to fill in custom fields in computer cards. You can create a dedicated catalogue with all possible values and to specify it for each custom field. You can create, fill in, and edit catalogues using the "Catalogues" toolbar menu.

- Added ability to perform the computer maintenance history (service operations, writing off, distribution). You can specify the operation type, date, responsible person, and linked documents.
- Improved the computer card window. It contains the summary information on computers and includes the change log, found problems, data collection settings, etc.
- Added ability to maintain and edit catalogues with computer parts, peripherals, and users. You can import the user data from Active Directory as well. The computer part names will be normalized automatically removing unnecessary words, symbols, and suffixes.
- If you are updating an older version of the program, the catalogues will be created and filled automatically on the first run. Computer cards will be filled too.
- You can now add unlimited number of devices to the computer card. There is no need to add custom fields in the program settings anymore.
- Starting from this v8.2, the program stores the computer hardware information and catalogues in the new internal SQLite database.

Starting from the version 8.0, the "10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer" program is released in two editions: Standard and Professional. The new Pro version allows you to perform more detailed SAM (Software Asset Management) and it is oriented on operation in big corporations with complex or distributed structure (having multiple departments and branches). Now, the Pro version has got the built-in advanced software library containing 100+ thousand software products with categories, license types, and prices. This allows you to analyze installed paid software and the license costs, plan the unlicensed software deletion, maintain your own product library, and create advanced SAM reports on free or paid applications.

What's new:
- Pro: Added the software library including more than 100 thousand program titles.
The library allows you to improve the SAM (Software Asset Management) process, get more information on installed programs, count the licenses' total cost, and create new reports using this data. You can edit the existing library information and add new titles.

- Added the MS Office-style ribbon bar panel. We hope it will help you accessing the program's functions easier. Possibly, you will find some useful functions you did not even know about. :)
If you are an old user and do not like the new ribbon bars, you can enable the old menu on the "View" tab.
- Added ability to edit the Agents' IP addresses (in addition to TCP ports) allowing even duplicated IP addresses for accessing multiple agents behind NATs (using the port forwarding on the switch having that IP address).
You can do this in the program settings -> "Remote Agents" -> "Managing Agents" -> "Select computers..." -> enable the "Configure agent polling behind NAT" option and click "Configure NAT IP address".

- Improved the data collecting mechanism. Now the information is gathered by a dedicated program (DataCollector.exe). It can be started on the system startup and collect data in the background mode hiding in the system tray. The process performs the scheduled computer scans, periodically imports data files from clients, and runs current scanning tasks when the main program is running. This mechanism helps improving the program's reliability and stability providing automatic data grabbing in the background mode. Now you do not need to keep the main program running in order to perform the continuous inventory data monitoring and sending out the alert notifications.
- Improved the web UI. Its functions are now performed by a background service application (InventoryWebServer.exe). Now you do not need to keep the main program running in order to provide access to the inventory database via the program's web interface.
- Added ability to generate PDF, DOC, and HTML reports in the web UI.
- Added ability to select a group for displaying it in the computer list in the web UI.
- Added displaying "Denied Software" by red color.
- Added ability to save selected computers (when you create a report) to a file and to load it back and select the saved machines.

- Added the "Denied Software" category. The software that is contained in the "authorized" software list is considered as "unauthorized". You can also configure the "denied" software list. After that, the "unauthorized" will contain the "denied" software and "unknown" software. You can watch and configure all these categories using the new Application Manager window.

However, a deleted program can leave its data in the registry. Such program can be detected and counted as installed. Be careful with this function.
