Changing Charset

Use this dialog for change editor font's charset for current code page mode (DOS or Windows).

NOTE: Change charset only if your texts don't seem to look properly.

Charset defines by its number (0-255).

Default charset for Windows mode is 1 (font's default).

Default charset for DOS mode is 255 (OEM).

If you have problems with viewing Windows texts try to set your national charset instead of default. If it doesn't work try to change font.

If you're having problem with viewing DOS texts (such problem was encountered on some national versions of Windows 98) it's better to change font (because only OEM charset is designed to view DOS texts). Try font "Terminal". Usually it supports OEM charset.
