Command Line Automation
Usage:
ftprint.exe /option1 /option2 ... /optionN file_to_open.ext
The possible options are:
1) /print
2) /printall
3) /auto
4) /readonly
5) /quit
6) /setup=your_setup.cfg
NOTE: These commands are available only in the registered version.
You can open file at startup. Use the file name as parameter.
Example: 1) ftprint.exe file.txt
2) ftprint.exe "C:\My files\file.txt"
You can associate 10-Strike FTPrint with ".txt" files in Windows Explorer.
1. You can print using the command-line too. The "Print..." dialog appears immediately after running this command.
Example: ftprint.exe /print "C:\My files\file.txt"
2. When using the /printall option, FTPrint will print the file as if you chose the "Print as 'Copy to prn'"menu command (F9 key).
Example: ftprint.exe /printall "C:\My files\file.txt"
3. Use the /auto option if you don't want any dialogs to appear. This feature is recommended if your printer loads paper automatically or when you use perforated paper.
Example: ftprint.exe /auto /print "C:\My files\file.txt"
4. /readonly turns on read-only mode (the same as "Read-only" button).
Example: ftprint.exe /readonly "C:\My files\file.txt"
5. When using the /quit option, FTPrint will close after printing.
Example: ftprint.exe /auto /quit /print "C:\My files\file.txt"
6. You can choose multiple configuration files using the command line with /setup option.
Example: 1) ftprint.exe /setup=mysetup.cfg /print "C:\My files\file.txt"
2) ftprint.exe /print /setup="C:\My files\mysetup.cfg" "file.txt"
7. /hidereadonly does the same as /readonly but hides the "Read-only" button so user cannot cancel read-only mode.
Example: ftprint.exe /hidereadonly "C:\My files\file.txt"
8. /hidesave hides "Save" button and menu item so user cannot save modified document.
Example: ftprint.exe /hidesave "C:\My files\file.txt"
9. /hidesaveas hides "Save as..." menu item so user cannot save modified document.
Example: ftprint.exe /hidesave /hidesaveas /hidereadonly "C:\My files\file.txt"
